Chino Airshow, 1989

Here is a freshly scanned gallery of Kodachromes from the airshow at Chino, California, on May 20, 1989.  The resident flying museum, Planes of Fame, was coming off some lean years and had only recently started hosting full annual airshows again.  The result would not have been a major World War II airshow by today’s standards, but at that time was exceptional, with several rare machines such as the A6M Zero, Seversky AT-12, Antonov An-2, North American P-51A, and two Spitfire Mk.XIVs that were hardly ever seen in the air.
