Embraer S.A.

Embraer is a Brazilian aerospace company headquartered in São José dos Campos.  Founded in 1969, Embraer initially built primarily military aircraft for Brazil and its allies, in the 1980s it branched into small jet airliners which have been successful on the international market.  Embraer aircraft are frequently seen flying short-haul and shuttle routes.  Embraer’s main product lines include the 135/140/145 series of small, 35 to 50-passenger regional jets; its larger “E-jet” 170/175/190/195 series of short-haul airliners; and various business jets and military trainers and transports.
