Glasair

Designer Thomas Hamilton founded the Stoddard-Hamilton company in 1979 to manufacture kits for homebuilders to build a sleek, two-place composite (mainly fiberglass) low-wing aircraft called the Glasair.  The company was renamed Glazair Aviation in 2001 when bought out by another owner, and continues under that name today in the ownership of Chinese investors.  The company has produced over 3,000 kits during the course of its existence.
