McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corp.

The McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corp. was formed in 1967 through the merger of the McDonnell Aircraft Corp. and the Douglas Aircraft Corp.  Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, the company continued McDonnell’s series of jet fighter aircraft as well as Douglas’s airliner, military transport and attack aircraft.  The company existed for 30 years before being acquired by Boeing in 1997.

The McDonnell-Douglas aircraft shown on this page are those designed or primarily manufactured during the existence of the merged company.  Previous Douglas and McDonnell aircraft are shown on their respective company pages.
